Anthropic’s researchers use internal tooling and infrastructure to run experiments that advance AI safety and capability. This role owns the researcher experience with that tooling — both day-to-day support and longer-term product vision. You will be the person researchers come to for help, and the person driving improvements and automation to reduce that manual help over time. Sits on the Capacity Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary support for researchers using internal compute tooling
- Drive improvements and automation to reduce manual support burden
- Own the product vision for researcher-facing infrastructure tools
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineering on tooling improvements
- Bridge the gap between research needs and infrastructure capabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in technical operations, DevOps, or infrastructure support
- Strong communication skills for working with research scientists
- Experience with GPU cluster management and job scheduling
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
- Understanding of ML training workflows
