Anthropic / SpaceX compute deal, May 2026

The May 6 announcement covers more than 300 MW at Colossus 1. SpaceX’s June 5 prospectus describes Anthropic service agreements across Colossus 1 and 2, approximately 325,000 GPUs, and a $1.25B monthly fee at that time. Anthropic’s October 26 Form S-1 reports that agreements entered into or amended between May and October provide for up to $120.5B through 2029, with fees of about $3.1B per month after all capacity is delivered, which Anthropic expected in December 2026. The separate agreements have initial non-cancelable periods ending in January and March 2027, after which either party may cancel with 90 days’ notice. The upper-limit spend is not a guaranteed contract value. The filing does not add a new MW allocation or give an energization date. Orbital compute remains an expression of interest.

Reported delivery: Compute capacity ramped during May and June. MW undisclosed. SpaceX's prospectus describes Anthropic service agreements across Colossus 1 and 2, with approximately 325,000 GPUs and fees ramping during May and June. It does not allocate delivered capacity to Colossus 1, state delivered MW, or give an energization date. This is partial ramp evidence, not confirmation that all Colossus 1 capacity was delivered.
