Announced Jul 10, 2026 · Undisclosed · Approximately RMB 5.5 billion total project investment

China Telecom and Huawei launched an Ascend 910C cluster on July 9, 2026. Shaoguan government reports 11,520 accelerators; China Telecom reports 30 supernodes, 9,000 PFLOPS FP16, and approximately RMB 5.5 billion total project investment. The investment is kept in native currency and excluded from USD contract totals. Accelerator count and compute throughput are not MW, critical IT load, or utility power. The launch establishes operational compute, not a measured power-delivery date.

Timing note: Cluster launched July 9, 2026

Reported delivery: 11,520-card Ascend cluster reported launched. MW undisclosed. The government report says the 11,520-card cluster launched on July 9. China Telecom reports 30 supernodes and 9,000 PFLOPS FP16. Neither figure is MW, IT load, or an energization measurement.
