Google announced a €13B two-year Finland program covering digital infrastructure, clean energy, and partnerships. This is not a site cost or contract value. Google named activity in Hamina, Kajaani, Muhos, and Vaala, but disclosed no site-level MW or first-capacity dates. On October 6, 2026, the Finnish Licensing and Supervision Agency asked Tuike Finland Oy to suspend work that significantly changes the environment at the planned Muhos and Kajaani sites by October 23, until the environmental impact assessments are complete. The notice does not cover planning, measurements, soil studies, or other low-impact and readily reversible work. It is a permitting and delivery risk, not evidence of energization or a revised delivery date.
