Nscale and Aker announced a 230 MW initial campus with ambition for another 290 MW. Nscale later disclosed a possible 115 MW Narvik expansion backed by an uncommitted financing feature. OpenAI welcomed the opportunity to be an initial offtaker; the announcement does not state a signed OpenAI capacity allocation. OpenAI's page describes a 500 MW data center. These figures may describe the Narvik development also covered by Microsoft/Nscale announcements, so this record is excluded from capacity totals. Nscale and Aker said they committed about $1B to an initial 20 MW phase; this is project financing/investment, not an OpenAI contract value. The end-2026 target is a GPU deployment target, not proof of first energization.
